Hi! My name is Kristen, I am a YMCA-certified fitness instructor and I would be thrilled to see you in my next class!
I have lead classes at the YMCA for more than five years, and since the recent pandemic and closing of group classes, I've decided to start HIIT classes in the community where I live.

Classes

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
​
A class that is a challenging cardiovascular workout which improves muscular endurance, and optimizes calorie-burning potential.
It includes:
​
10 minutes of active warm-up
30 minutes of HIIT
(alternating legs, core, upper body, & cardio exercises)
10 minutes of targeted, core strength exercises
10 minutes of deep stretching and relaxation
​
Options for each exercise are provided (higher vs. lower intensity, impact vs. low impact) to make sure you work at a level that suits your needs.
Bring your own mat, water, and of course a smile!

COVID-19 note: Safe physical distancing (>2m) during class is ensured.
This class does not require sharing of equipment.
